Fundraiser Evening

As a not-for-profit organisation, Ipswich Historical Society needs to raise funds to continue the work we do to ensure the heritage of Ipswich is saved for posterity.

One of our favourite fundraisers is an evening at the Incinerator Theatre in Queens Park, enjoying performances by the very talented Ipswich Little Theatre actors. We invited friends like you to join us for a fun evening on Friday 4 March and you came along to support us. Thank you.

We enjoyed two one-act plays under the title "The Games People Play" :

 “Golf, Marriage and other Murderous Matters” by Debra Chalmers 

 “Murder Play” by Brian J. Burton 

This theatre evening in the historic Incinerator Theatre, designed by Walter Burley Griffin, is a wonderful way to enjoy the talents of our local artistes while raising funds for not-for-profit organisations. We thoroughly recommend you try it!
