Friday evening 5 September 2025 from 6pm to 9pm will be your opportunity to experience how life after dark was in the 19th century. No electricity, so lanterns or candles were the light sources. No running water in the house and a copper to heat it so if you wanted a bath after dark you had to heat the copper and carry the water to your hip bath!! Cooneana Homestead built in 1868 will be the place to explore, then Jack Sim will talk about the stories that he has gathered from that time.
The Cooneana Blacksmiths will have their forges fired so bring your camera and take some awesome photos!
A glass of wine or a soft drink will be offered, and you can purchase one of Wendy's tasty spuds cooked in their jackets and filled with delicious extras.
This event is not suitable for young children.
Tickets will be available soon @ $15 per person.
Mark it in your diary today!
